No Odd-Even System During Eid Holidays

Jakarta Provincial Government ensures there will be no odd-even system in the capital during Eid holidays.

Which is why odd-even won't be applied during Eid holidays, precisely started on on June 11-20n 2018

It is applied in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation No. 164/2016 on traffic restriction with odd-even system.

In article 3 paragraph 2, traffic restriction in question is not applied on Saturday, Sunday and national holiday that has been set by Presidential Decree.

"Which is why odd-even won't be applied during Eid holidays, precisely started on on June 11-20n 2018," expressed Sigot Wijatmoko, Vice Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept., Monday (6/11).

According to him, the system also refers to Presidential Decree No. 13/2018 on public leave signed by President, Joko Widodo.

In addition, this policy was taken, as the vehicle volume will be less than usual during Eid holidays.

"Even almost our officers focus on securing and guarding the flow of homecoming," he said.
